Outlet

A lot of times we treat Jesus like a plug and not like an outlet. We love to be plugged in to Jesus when we're in despair hurting feeling like death..but until you're making Jesus a source you'll only come to him when you need a miracle or feeling depressed. We can confuse ourselves if were truly sold out living for God. When in reality were sometimes we live for miracles and blessings even without a thought. And that is where the outlet comes in cuz the plug will die and eventually it'll need to be charged or replaced and there is no replacement for God in this race..so then we'll turn to idols and drift away this can be anything in your life that you place above God damaging your faith.  But when we treat God as the source as the outlet that is where the miracles happen.. cuz we are no longer relying on the simple plug but relying on the source with passion.  God said come to me all who are weary and I'll give you rest. but it is hard to find rest when you're constantly oppressed.. worried and wondering if your battery is going to die cuz you walked away from your source that kept you alive. And how are you suppose to function if you're not letting God function in your life. Stop treating Jesus like an option and treat him like a source not just plugged into Jesus to get by. Gotta fall in love with the source to stay spiritually charged 2 survive. Seek rest in him. Come to him when you are hurting or joyful all the time  make Jesus your #1 your outlet your source in life.
