Cover Me

We are like the trees islands and rocks in the sea....separate on the surface but connected on the deep...I am the crashing wave you are the infinite sea. when I’m hurting through darkness can’t see the light of day cover me....when I submerge and drown in despair rescue me bring me to the surface for air is my prayer I pray. when I can’t breathe losing the will to live give me a desire to press on in faith breathe strength and life into me leading the way. When I can’t walk or crawl on an endless road of sorrow, struggle and change pick me up and carry me before I fall drifting away if need be break me again. when I’m bruised and not strong cover me....as the waters cover the sea so your blood through love covers me<3
