Forgiveness

Forgiveness is never for the person who traumatized once broke you into pieces. They can never take the cuts and the scars back and give you back the years you loss as depression increases. They can never give you back your tears. You will never get back those years l. But when you forgive somebody, you give yourself the gift of sleep, the gift of freedom, the gift of peace. The gift of love and pure healing. For those who think I have a right to hold on this person, I can't forgive. Is the blood of Jesus enough to pay for what they done, fot what they did. Is what Jesus did on the cross strong enough to absorb the sin that they committed against you. You can never get back those years, true. You will never get back your name or innocence but look what God has done with you, and vindication. Look at the dirt you grew through. They threw dirt on your name but look how flowers grew. Is the cross of Jesus not enough to pay for the offense. And what they did. It is almost an offense against God cross for His expense. Lord your blood is strong enough to pay for that offense and what they did. Your blood and hanging on the cross and you said Father forgive them!! For they know not what they do. It's not because they deserve it, it's because you deserve freedom too. In Christ a new creature old things have passed away, all things become new.
